If you love eating, you can surely be a good cook, but to be an excellent one, you should have good critics at home. For that I owe to my husband and my children.

I dedicate this blog to the young ladies - "the starters".

Baby Food

Introducing semi- solids to infants is
always a matter of worry for parents.

when our grand children completed 3
months we introduced semi- solids by giving
sun dried green banana powder (nendrakaya).
It is easy to digest for the infants .
Green bananas are sliced wafer thin, sun dried
and powdered.
Mix with milk, cook in
slow fire and feed by bottle for some days
and then by spoon.

When babies turn six months we introduced
grains. First, cooked rice and curd, cooked
vegetables, fruit juice, egg yolk and
then multi -grain.

The photo featured in this post is of that,
multi- grain in the proportion before
grinding it into flour.

Every child is different, so to introduce
solid food we have to watch the reaction of the child .
As their tastes are developing they should be
introduced to new tastes.
Keep natural, mild and clean.
